| ¶
to God be all glory by His grace
By faith
Abraham,
when he was
called
to go out
into a place
which he should after receive for an inheritance,
obeyed;
and he went out,
not knowing whither he went.
By faith
he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country,
dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob,
the heirs with him of the same promise:
For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Neither shall thy name
any more be called Abram,
but thy name shall be Abraham;
for a father of many nations have I made thee.
when we come to God
God changes are name
we are Christians
Christ is more important to us
then we are to ourselves
to help others the best
we help them in Christ
And God said unto Abraham,
Thou shalt
keep my covenant therefore,
thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
there is an obedience factor in our walk with God
daily we have to surrender to Him
because of love and safety
And God said unto Abraham,
As for Sarai thy wife,
thou shalt not call her name Sarai,
but Sarah shall her name be.
God has the right to change our name
to change who we are
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Then Abraham fell upon his face,
and laughed,
and said in his heart,
Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old?
and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
God will touch the weakest part of us
and put His strength there
And Abraham said unto God,
O that
Ishmael might live before thee!
our plans have to be brought to God
our lives have to be brought to God
God does things in His own time and His own way
when a door opens you through it
I know thy works:
behold,
I have set before thee an
open door,
and no man can shut it:
for thou hast a little strength,
and hast kept my word,
and hast not denied my name.
