during the days of hitler
a doctrine that was growing in the church was "cheap grace"

thinking
we are saved we do not have to be concerned about the danger around us

so the churches were being silenced
then they were closed

as hitler was rising in power
the true church
was seeing his deception his evil

the true church saw that killing jews was wrong

And
take heed to yourselves,
lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting,
and drunkenness,
and cares of this life,
and so that day come upon you unawares.
Tools specific to Luk 21:35
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
Tools specific to Luk 21:36
Watch ye therefore,
and pray always,
that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass,
and to stand before the Son of man.
Tools specific to Luk 21:37
And in the day time he was teaching in the temple;
and at night he went out,
and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
Tools specific to Luk 21:38
And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.

Christ is calling each of us
to watch to pray be alert

these are dangerous times
the people in charge
do not seek God

leaders in the world

 have done much damage

Pol Pot
; 19 May 1925 – 15 April 1998),
was a Cambodian revolutionary who led the Khmer Rouge[4]from 1963 until 1997.

He presided over a totalitarian dictatorship,[6]
in which his government made urban dwellers move to the countryside to work in collective farms and on forced labour projects.
The combined effects of executions, strenuous working conditions, malnutrition and poor medical care caused the deaths of
approximately
25 percent of the Cambodian population.
In all, an estimated 1 to 3 million people (out of a population of slightly over 8 million) died due to the policies of his four-year premiership.[11][12][13]

when leaders become evil

the people are at risk

just because we are saved by grace
does not mean that we do not have to watch and pray and be alert to the danger that is all around us
