MAYDAY! MAYDAY! Ebook of Prayers

I would like to give special thanks and acknowledgement to three women who stepped out and made MAYDAY! MAYDAY! available in their languages. Enny Kim and Gina Hwang translated the prayers into Korean and Martha Caceres in Phoenix, AZ, translated them into Spanish. I am so grateful for their vision and for their disciplined commitment to follow through with it.¹  I also would like to thank the generosity of Sonicflood for giving us their song, Mayday, to use for our Distress Call for Prayer.

Towards the end of MAYDAY! MAYDAY!, in my morning devotions, I read Ezra 8:23…So we fasted and petitioned our God about this, and He answered our prayer.  I believe God was assuring me that He has heard and will answer our prayers. We may not know today exactly how our prayers are being answered, but there is no doubt in my mind that together we reversed thunder.  It’s interesting to watch national events unfolding: the exposure of corruption and immorality in high places, the “recall” of a government official who was presiding over talks that endanger Israel, the foiling of an ISIS-inspired plot to behead police officers, the discovery of a live anthrax shipment before anyone was infected, as well as other news that indicates God is moving--perhaps in some unexpected, unpleasant, but also protective ways.

The end of all things is near.  Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.²  And keep on praying until genuine revival comes or the rapture of the church takes place. Do not put out the Spirit’s fire…³ that was ignited during our nine days of prayer and fasting. In your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.⁴ This is harvest time.  Share the Gospel.  Just give them Jesus!
